Not all of the sites below have been rated.. This does not mean that it is a bad site. It just means that I did not get to spend enough time there to evaluate it properly or the link was added before I  began this rating system. The rating of the site may vary because of content, accessibility, amount of advertising, type of advertising, music, ease of reading ,background, how long since updated, frames (and usage of), loading time, the use of  java scripts and applets  and other things. A big thumbs down is those sites that require a subscription.  That will  knock the rating down one level right there.  For example  a site that would rate a red star may be downgraded to a yellow or black star because of excessive advertisements or sound..   That does not mean the sight is bad, most of the sites I have visited are really pretty good and have some nice recipes.  More and more are hosting recipe forums also which is usually a plus because more user interaction is possible, thus more recipes..
