This book is ....unique. Harrison again writes a good story that I think is very fun to read although it is filled with cliches..

This book tells how the Stainless Steel Rat originated. His start as a petty criminal on Bit O'Heaven and his rise to a wanted criminal. His mentor, The Bishop, is introduced and valuable lessons are learned from him.
