November 22

It was a few days before Thanksgiving and I was excited about it but there was a downside to it. Every Thanksgiving a few turkeys that died each day came back from the dead and started pecking people to death. Now it's almost that time of the year again and we're preparing for the revenge of

the turkeys.

November 23

We start to feel the first signs of this phenomenon that happens once a year. Some people die, some people live, and some people are hurt seriously but they live.

November 24

We're getting closer to the end... Now blood is rising out of the ground. Unfortunately eighty eight Turkeys have died and fifteen more died today. This will be a very big battle. We were in the middle of a briefing we recalled previous battles. We found out that most turkeys aimed for the head and gouged out the eyes and ate the brains of it's victims. A few minutes ago there was a huge boom in the Turkey Graveyard. We knew it was almost time for the battle so we handed out weapons and got in our positions. There were only 7 members of our group. Their names were Bob, James, Mark, Erica, Rachel, me, and Bill.

THANKSGIVING DAY

It was 12:00 A.M. when the first wave of turkeys came in and all were bloodthirsty and evil and one bit our dog Spike but Spike bit it back. He ripped that turkey limb from limb till all that was left of the body was a couple of feathers. The others we destroyed, but the worse was still to come..

1:00 am

We've beaten two waves of dead turkeys but now there were turkeys from all our farmhouses in the County coming toward us. Now they seemed to be levitating in midair. Just when we heard a noise it was our neighbors in their jeeps.

6:00 am

Our neighbors were unsuccessful in helping us. The turkeys were ready for them. They killed them all and blood was everywhere and the turkeys had the advantage. They outnumbered us seventy nine to seven and we needed help bad. Then my dad came with three other people carrying propane tanks. They put them by the huge gas tank and then my dad said "get in the car" and we all got in the car and my dad poured a mixture of oil and gasoline and lit the paper fuse and they started a fire in the house which caused everything to explode which destroyed the killer turkeys. Now we are living with our grandparents in Rhode Island, but even here we have something to worry about.......KILLER SNOWMEN!!

The End

PS Spike was ok but my goldfish weren't.

The above story was wrote by my 13 year old son for his 6th grade Language Arts class. It got him an A. All I did was transpose it to this. All grammar and spelling errors are his own. He is now working on the sequel, Frosty's Revenge It may also be posted here.
